Bombay Egg Curry recipe


A simple yet delicious weekday curry, and a great alternative to a meat curry. Boiled eggs and Kohinoor’s special Bombay spiced sauce make this recipe unbelievably tasty and easy.

Egg Curry recipe


1 packet of Kohinoor Bombay Egg Curry cooking sauce
4 boiled eggs
1 tbsp oil
1 tsp turmeric powder
1 tsp chilli powder


  • In a saucepan, heat the Bombay Egg Curry cooking sauce until it simmers
  • Whilst your sauce is heating through, heat up the oil in another pan
  • When the oil is very hot, add your boiled eggs
  • Add a pinch of turmeric and a pinch of chilli powder to your eggs
  • Fry them off until the eggs have turned a vibrant colour
  • Put the eggs in the curry sauce and simmer for a few minutes
  • Serve with some fresh basmati rice and fresh coriander
